The FÜRSTENBERG manufactory was founded in Fürstenberg/Weser more than 250 years ago by Duke Carl I. of Brunswick. Since then, it is not only the manufactory in Lower Saxony with the richest tradition, but also one of the oldest and most renowned porcelain manufacturers in Europe. Continuity, quality and a strong commitment to innovation have shaped the history of the company, which has seen more than a quarter of a millennium of diverse economic and cultural developments up to the present day.

Almost everything important for the development of our products is based on the experience and engagement of our employees: a love of detail, and use of the hands and the heart. This means that each piece of porcelain contains a little bit of personality; reflected in the carefully modeled relief, complex open work, and extreme sensitivity used in applying the pattern. This also applies to a craft we have always upheld and in which we train our apprentices: hand painting, the classic art of porcelain finishing.
